Jewelry Care Instructions
| Material / finish | Do | Avoid |
|---|---|---|
| Gold-plated & micro gold-plated | Wipe with a dry soft cloth; store in an airtight pouch | Water, perfume, sanitiser, polishing cloths with chemicals |
| Rose-gold tone | Same as gold-plated; rotate wear to avoid rubbing on one spot | Rubbing against zippers and bags |
| Rhodium / silver-tone | Dry cloth; keep separate from other metals | Chlorine and bleach |
| Oxidised silver-tone | Wipe gently — the dark finish is intentional | Silver cleaners, which remove the oxidised effect |
| 925 sterling silver | Polish with a silver polishing cloth; wear often (natural oils reduce tarnish) | Rubber bands, sulphur-rich air and humidity |
| Stainless steel & titanium | Rinse with mild soap and water, dry thoroughly | Abrasive scrubbers |
| Kundan, polki-look & meenakari | Store flat in cotton wrap; dust with a soft brush | Moisture behind stones, pressing on the enamel |
| American diamond (AD) / cubic zirconia | Brush gently with a dry soft brush to restore sparkle | Soaking, which can loosen glue-set stones |
| Pearls & shell pearls | Put on last, wipe after wear, store flat and separately | Perfume, vinegar, heat and hanging for long periods |
| Beads, threads & fabric | Keep dry; store loosely coiled | Pulling or stretching the string |
Sensitive skin
Choose pieces marked nickel-safe, stainless steel or 925 silver, and remove jewelry if you notice redness or itching.
